Acetabular Plate System

Our Acetabular Plate System provides a rapid solution for repairing acetabular fractures in small animals. Pre-contoured plate designed to fit the dorsal acetabular surface. It helps facilitate the accurate reduction of acetabular fractures.

The rounded plate and design reduce the potential for soft tissue irritation. We can place cortical screws at variable angles via round holes to avoid interference with other screws and penetrating the hip joint.

The 1.5- and 2.0-mm plates are designed with four holes to allow enough purchase on both sides of the fracture. There is plenty of room in the middle of the small plate to cover the fracture line without a screw hole.

Orthopedic SS Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy (TPLO) System

Rupture of the cranial cruciate ligament is one of the most common orthopedic injuries affecting dogs. Tibial plateau level osteotomy (TPLO) is a veterinary-specific medical technique for rupturing the internal knee ligaments in dogs.

The Specifications ofOur SS TPLO System

Our Orthopedic SS TPLO bone plate is a patent-protected, in-house developed, and designed system. It includes 1.5 mm, 2.0 mm, 2.4 mm, 2.7 mm, 3.5 mm (small), 3.5 mm (regular), and 3.5 mm (broad versions).
These are available in left and suitable versions, made in titanium alloy. For use with locking or cortical screws.

The Benefits of Our SS TPLO System

It is a pre-bent anatomical plate with a specially designed anatomical shape that allows the screw to penetrate the bone and hold it firmly in the smallest proximal osteotomy area.
Compared to other TPLO plates, the anatomical shape of the plate is more precise, and the conformation is better, reducing the rate of surgical failure and repeat operations in clinical applications.

Orthopedic SS TPO/DPO Locking Plate System

Double Pelvic Osteotomy Plate (DPO) & Triple Pelvic Osteotomy Plate, short for DPO/TPO, are designed for treating coxofemoral joint instability and subluxation in immature dogs.

The plate has two different screw-hole technologies to accommodate all plating modalities and includes three stacked combi holes on the caudal side and three stacked combi holes, and one locking compression plate combi hole on the cranial side.

The stacked combi hole in the plate accepts either cortex or locking screws. It has two options, 25⁰ and 30⁰, available in right and left versions, made in titanium alloy.

The Specifications of Our Locking Plates

Locking plates have combi-holes in our plate that are oriented. We do this to point the holes' compression component to the middle of the plate. Compared to nonlocking constructions, locking structures provide better angular stability.
Once the locking screw has engaged the bone plate, it is impossible to tighten it further. Therefore, the implant locks the bone segment in its relative position, regardless of the repositioning degree.

Orthopedic SS Titanium Plates and Screw System

Medical Grade Ti-based: Alloy, one of the best biocompatible metals, is widely used in orthopedic implants. The most used titanium alloy for medical applications is TC4 (Ti-6A1-4V), which has a two-phase mixture of а and β at room temperature.
Solid solution and aging treatments can significantly improve its mechanical properties, such as strength. The density of titanium and titanium alloys is around 4.5g/cm3, almost half that of stainless steel, which is close to the hard tissue of the human body.

The Materials Used

Its biocompatibility, corrosion resistance, and fatigue resistance are better than that of stainless steel and cobalt alloys, making it the best metal material for medical use.

The biocompatibility of titanium and titanium alloys with the human body stems from the ability of the dense titanium oxide (TiO2) passivation film on its surface.

The Benefits of Our SS Titanium Plates and Screw System

It induces the precipitation of calcium and phosphorus ions in body fluids to form apatite after implantation. Therefore, showing a certain degree of biological activity and osseointegration ability, which is suitable for intraosseous implantation.
